Kerry’s Bible Knowledge
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
Recently the Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry gave an impassioned speech last week concerning the depth of his faith, and how important the Bible is to him. In this attempt to express his deep conviction toward God and the Bible, and therefore attempt to convince the American people to give him their vote, Kerry stated his favorite Bible verse is John 16:3.
Of course Kerry’s potentially dyslexic speechwriter meant John 3:16. Unfortunately nobody in the Kerry camp was familiar enough with scripture, or even had a Bible handy enough to double check, as to catch the error.
And do you know what John 16:3 says?
John 16:3 says; “And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” (KJV)
Just goes to show you that not only that you can’t hide your true heart from God, but eventually, you will slip publicly too.
