Ramblings of a Jackhole

I know I know. I’ve been a bit remiss on posting in here.

OK, I’ll start off with something exciting. I’ve just got Mrs. Jackhole a new Dell computer from one of their special offers on DELL computers, but we need to (translation: I need to) get an exteral HD to help with the data transfer from the old computer to the new. Of course, a combo Fireware and USB with autoback up is a must.

So, after a bit of searching I found a few incredible deals.

Well, I survived Halloween night. No omelets on the side of my house. And the good news is that I won’t have to buy toilet paper for awhile. Of course, if I’m going to use it all, I’m going to need a bigger ladder.

OK, now I’m a bit pumped. I’m upgrading my home wireless network. Reportedly, I can get 54Mbps with my newly ordered Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G.

Normally this puppy sells for around $200, BUT I was able to get it for, get this, only $98.99!

Of course if I’m getting a new router, I need to get the Wireless-G Game Adapter to hook into my PS2 so I’m be running at full speed while playing SOCOM II! And the good news for my brother is he can get my old wireless router!

Now I’m looking into a TiVo. I’ll keep you guys updated on what I decide to get there. Or if any of you would like to make a suggestion, please email me!

Yes, the Jackhole plays SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals. However, I CAN’T wait for SOCOM II! Yes I’m a freaking addict.

I think I’m even going to get the upgraded wireless Predator Controller. For those of you that’d like to play along, I’m either Jackhole or “Bad Soldier” on SOCOM and hope to be the same on SOCOM II!

OK, I’m going to take a stab at actually trying to break even with this site. However I’ll likely be as successfully at making money on this site as the “Star Wars Kid” will be in getting a date for prom, but even paying for half the expenses would be wonderful.
